Project Management Skills Training

Project management skills are essential when leading complex technical teams across diverse geographies, cultures and disciplines. Where projects are required to encompass complex activities where diverse outcomes are possible, the associated planning, options assessment and organising activities need a firm balance between interpersonal and process skills to deliver the required outcomes.

The workshop begins with the first principals of good commercial practice and relates them into project management. Over subsequent sessions this builds into a toolset of skills that can be readily absorbed and used to enhance understanding of the wider business environment.

This foundation level assumes no knowledge of the basis of project management and how that relates commercially and financially to the delivery of the project's objectives. Whilst any project that is pushing the boundaries of knowledge will have technology challenges, the workshop balances the more traditional project skills with the interpersonal and leadership qualities required to deliver the project with the full support of a team of committed professionals.
